Where she writes them all.

for granted.

It was just my typical morning. A filling breakfast and the Today paper to start the day. As I indulge myself in the sinful pleasure, yet again, those thoughts kept coming back to me, melting my stubborn resolve. Something have been bugging me, and I've been trying to not think much about it. I failed, though.

I read an entry of someone's blog, reminiscing about old times with close friends, and I realise that yes, to put it aptly, I do take things for granted. It's not something that I'm proud of, though. As much as I know that I take McD's breakfasts for granted, and worrying about not having lots of these breakfasts in two years' time, I shall not be dramatic and go into a debate of why I'll miss calling friends to meet at "the usual mac", for breakfast before class, after I'm done with this two years ITE stint.

To say the least, I don't even know what I'm going to do after ITE, or if I am even eligible for poly.

But yes, the worst part of school life is moving on, meeting new people, and knowing that sooner or later, we'll say our goodbyes, and meet new people, and trying (sometimes struggling) to keep in touch. But the good thing is that along the way, you meet friends. I mean, real friends, not just "friends". And from that lot, you kind of figure out those who will stick around for long, and those who won't.

I don't know about "bestfriends". My first "bestfriend" in kindergarten was this girl me and my sister insisted was our bestfriend.

Little Yani: Doris' my bestfriend.
Little Yana: Doris' my bestfriend.
Little Yani: NO. She's my bestfriend!
Little Yana: NO NO NO. She's MY bestfriend!

You get the picture.

And when we went to primary one, I don't remember having a bestfriend. Maybe because I got tired of fighting with Yana over "bestfriends". During primary three, we separated (as in, go different class lah!) and I got myself a "bestfriend". I don't know why she was my bestfriend, and me her bestfriend. But yes, being two of the tallest in class, we sit at the back together, line up at the back together. I suppose we "bestfriend-ed" each other somehow. In primary five, I got myself another "bestfriend", maybe because we are one of the "quietest" in class. (Good girl, mah.)

Let's just say I don't even have my "bestfriends" contact number now since they don't sticking around for long. And for those who do, I've been struggling to keep in touch with them. But anyhow, these people are the real-est rock-est people I've ever met. And eventhough nowadays, I can't seem to trust many many (many) people much, I know I can trust them. Them three.

I can't call them bestfriends since bestfriends apparently do everything together, and share secrets or whatever. But yes, I'd like to think that I'm one of those lucky few who can say "My 'bestfriend' stood up for me, look out for me, and have been there for me when I need her the most." And really mean it.

Thank you, you know who you are.

So as you can see, I'm writing redundant posts yet again, and am writing whatever comes to mind.

I know, it's not very surprisingly shocking that I'm writing redundant posts yet again.
ok, maybe not as surprisingly shocking that singapore beat laos 11-o eh.

But I'm really not feeling high right now. I'm feeling sad for no reason actually.
ok, maybe not as sad as travis not winning So You Think You Can Dance 2 eh.

But anyhow, I'm feeling so bored right now, I would run all the way to tampines and back again.
ok, maybe not so bored as to make a music video lip-synching to nasyid song like on Sunday eh.

Yes, me and Yana was super bored and feeling very kental, we decided to do just that. If you're lucky, you can see me on YouTube. haha. :) Try bug me to watch it and have a good laugh. Who knows, maybe I might give in. Pfft.

Cheers?
